If there’s one thing that really made me remember to watch free TV again, it is the teleserye May Bukas Pa.
Everyone in the family loves to glue themselves in front of the television whenever it is time for Santino, or Zaijan Jaranilla to enter the scene. I find him so effective and fit for the role that not only my family but the rest of the people I talked to remember his character more than who he really is.
Teaches Moral Values
This is one of the things that I like about this teleserye. They are injecting a lot of moral values in every episode. The writers should receive credit for incorporating these points in their scripts. That simple effort of formulating characters and stories relates best to their audience, regardless of their background and orientation.
Bro Becomes ‘Cool’
Before, people would shy away from those who would openly talk about Jesus. Now, everyone labels Him as Bro and would talk about the program, their opinion about it and yes, about Bro.
Now, talking about Him is just so easy and does not (generally) shoo people away. This also goes with talking about the rest of the casts like the priests, the townspeople and the guests.
Awards and Citations
After the show became so popular and well loved by their viewers, it seems that blessings poured in non-stop. They were invited to grace a lot of gatherings, awards night and would walk away with a number of awards and citations. I can only imagine how this impacted the morale of the entire May Bukas Pa cast and crew. Truly, there’s always reward in every hardwork.

Bro and Santino
They instantly became a hot item, a combination synonymous with things that should always go together. Bro maintains His mystery as to who he is, while Santino exposes himself to a lot of fans and avid viewers. Although a challenge, a lot of people are hoping that Zaijan will grow to be a real good boy, even after this series. It has been known to many how some other young actors behaved during their teen and adult years, something that (hopefully) would not happen to Zaijan.

Conclusion
I would say hats off to those who continuously work to make this project possible. Based on one of the TV interviews I watched months ago, ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio is the person behind this concept. 
May this TV series continue to inspire a lot of people and share hope that every good thing and intention is possible with faith and trust in Bro.
